Havana streets that gave name to the traditional Habanos, cigar band that have been created to commemorate the half century of foundation of the Villa de San Cristóbal de La Habana; the origin of the rum Santiago de Cuba, that is already tradition in all the Island commercialized by the Corporation Cuba Ron S.A., were the topics debated by the professionals participating in the conference.
The brand Santiago de Cuba emerged in 1978 produced by the city's Beverages and Soft Drinks Company. In 2000 it was transferred to Corporation Cuba Ron S.A.
